I'm considering buying a loader for my BX2200. Am I better off going with the LA211 Kubota loader or are aftermarket loader just as good. I looked at some specs on the Koyker model 110 and looks like it will lift 1,000lbs compared to Kubota's 460lbs and will lift 1ft higher. Are these higher specs too much for the BX to handle? Haven't checked on the Koyker price yet or any others. How about resale? Would it make any difference? Any thoughts would be appreciated since this is a major purchase. Thanks

Two things that would concern me: Does the aftermarket loader compromise other implements such as a MMM?

The other issue would be the BX tires. The BX series has a very low setting on the system hydraulic pressure. I believe it is kept low due to the load rating on typical 8 inch tires.

I think a 1000 pounds in the FEL of a BX would be be a serious overload. ....

That would be overkill. Go with the Kubota. ....

Woods makes one for the BX series only. But kubota doesn't warrenty the tractor if you place after market loader and backhoes. Just buy the right one for the tractor, it was designed for it in the first place. ....

I've had a heaping load of wet pea gravel (about 600 lbs)in the FEL on my BX22 (LA210 -- same capacity as the LA211 for the BX22000). The front tires were pancaking pretty good --I don't think ya wanna be liftin' more than that. Go with the 'Bota FEL. ....
